Innumerable calls from Starnet Paete. I will not answer because I know it is a computer scam. Want to prosecute if I can be instrumental in stopping these disgusting people. This began when I purchased an HP Computer in the summer. Suddenly I had a problem and tried to call HP but was switched to Starnet Paete, which claimed that my computer has a virus that they would take care of it for $400. I didn't respond to this and hung us. In addition my wife got similar calls from Starnet because she, too, bought a new computer earlier this summer (2020). The same scam about a so-called virus was used on her. I will do anything to exterminate this company. Name it.

I received a call from STARNET PAETE and they said that they were going to charge my $299.00 for a computer software subscription and to call a number if you do not want your card charged.

Caller was a recording, asked me "can you hear me now". When I replied "who is this and who are you calling" the recording continued as if I had answered "yes" and then line went dead.
