A person by the name of Trent Davies reached out via text saying I was chosen among the many applications for the position call center specialist/data entry and they needed to interview me through an app called Signal. I immediately asked if this was legitimate because it seemed odd for me as employers usually call when they are hiring. They sent me the website of the company supposedly to prove me that it was legitimate. They told me via text that the pay was $32.41 per hour. This is what they said on text " signal messenger is our official secure channel for interview. kindly head to google play store to install and set up signal messenger on your device and let me know once done." I asked when the interview would be taking place as it is passed 5:45 pm and I saw on the company page that they close at 5pm Monday through Friday so this also made me feel this was not legitimate. Their response, "It is to commence immediately as the Recruiter is currently on standby and the first phase of the job will be text based will the second phase will be via zoom video call if hired." "To proceed with the interview process contact Mrs. Kalin Watson, the recruiting manager you can start a new conversation and connect on Signal messenger at (1-469-207-3997) or with the username (Kalinwatson.95) she willbe available to speak to you." I replied to both and told them I would report them and sent screenshots of what the scam they are making and they did not replied back.
