My wife and I booked a wedding band-making session with Sip and Smith for our honeymoon in Hawaii. We scheduled the session with an employee named Kelsey approximately six weeks in advance. Based on this confirmed booking, we arranged our accommodations and transportation to and from the Sip and Smith location. After we arrived in Hawaii, Kelsey canceled our scheduled session. When we requested a refund, we were refused. After the fact, I researched other customer reviews online and found multiple accounts describing the same pattern: customers pay for a session, the business cancels it, and then refuses to issue a refund. This appears to be a recurring practice rather than an isolated incident.
