A tiktok ad video showed up on my FYP it used lipglosses from the brand "KIKO" in the video with the claim they were giving away free samples. The was a popup link directing to their website. The video ad had over 50k likes and 1k comments. A lot of the comments were "people" saying that the promotion was real. Clicking on the profile of the commenters showed what appeared to be real users. They were even replying to others to convince them it was real. The website had all the lipglosses listed for $0 so the customer only had to pay for $5 shipping. Once the order was placed, it never shipped. Contacting customer service only led to them claiming they were experiencing shipping issues.
