I was trying to get a toy for Easter for my friends from Schylling.us.com, the popular toy is from a brand named schylling. The prices were similar to the actual website and I did not think anything of it. It won’t accept credit cards, tries to ask for PIN number, but offers PayPal. PayPal went through and caught me offguard.

There was a pretty good duplicate site of the legitimate toy site schylling.com at the fake website Schylling.us.com. The viral toys are sold out everywhere and so I thought they restocked. I kept trying to pay for my order and the payment didn’t go through. I thought it was due to the high traffic on the website. I googled through a different browser and found the real site that showed some differences between it an the fake site. I contacted my credit card company and they told me when I tried to pay through the fake site’s online portal, a scammer tried to add my credit card information to an apple or mobile pay app. I do not have fraudulent charges but my card information has been compromised so I am getting a replacement card with a new number.

at paypal it asked confirming if you want to make a payment to esmeralda __ ___ (didn't catch the full name) which was odd as it did list the business name SCHYLLING

I logged on to what I thought was the official SCHYLLING site to purchase Needoh products for my child. The site I used was https://schylling.us.com/product-category/needoh/ The site looked legitimate and I added products to my cart and went to check out.

After filling in my credit card information I got a notification that my (Visa) card was "Not Supported". I then tried my Mastercard which looked like it went through but ultimately did not.

Both card companies notified me of potential scams. My Visa card was used for a manual entry in Ontario, Canada without my permission and was flagged by Citi. My Mastercard was linked to an Apple Pay account and a Google Pay account. Neither of those actions were initiated by me.

I searched Schylling to find the popular Needoh toys. This website, Schylling.us.com, came up, I browsed and put items in my cart after checking website. It had correct logo and company socials linked. When I went to purchase, PayPal would not work, it just spun so I refreshed and entered my credit card info instead, it seemed to process then gave me an error. It took longer than expected so I got concerns. I started looking deeper into website and realized it was fraudulent. I believe my info for PayPal and my bank were compromised.
