I applied for an Administrative Assistant position advertised as being with Schafer Manufacturing Co. I received an email stating that I had passed an initial screening and was offered $30/hour with benefits. The email instructed me to download Signal and contact a supposed hiring manager named Sandy Kasper at +1 (821) 221-2974 using the username SandyK.03. The person continued the hiring process through Signal. I later determined that this appears to be an employment scam impersonating Schafer Manufacturing. I provided only the name of my bank and no account or routing information.
