We were searching for an assistance program to help my mother pay for her prescriptions until her Medicare coverage begins next month. This program popped up while searching. They called us from a LOCAL phone number. They asked for a full list of medications. They told us that they could provide all medications through mail order, except for a few of the medications that were very inexpensive. We were surprised, as many other programs as well as medicaid claimed that there was no assistance available for some of the more expensive medications on her list of medications. They claimed that she could get all of her medications for $190.00 a month. There would be a one time $50 enrollment charge. They also required a 12 month contract. When it was time to enroll, they claimed that they would need a copy of her bank account number as well as her routing number. They refused to allow us to view their contract before giving payment information because they said they could justify the expense of sending everyone a welcome packet unless they were already enrolled and made payment. I asked for them to simple email me the contract to view before sending payment. They denied the ability to use an email address, as it was "taken away several years ago." Yet, they were still able to receive a copy of banking information via email. I explained that we were not interested in the program. I was told by "Nathan" that they were accredited with the BBB and that they have been in business for several years and that all calls are recorded. He claimed that he could read the contract to me over the phone to me. I again explained that we were no longer interested and that I would NOT give my mothers bank account information to him. He asked how I planned to get medication for my mother. I told him I would figure something out and he claimed that I wouldn't. I have received several calls from them. PLEASE WARN OTHERS THAT THIS IS A SCAM! Please know that they have a FAKE BBB rating shown on their website and claim to be BBB accredited by phone, however you cannot find their business on BBB.
