I tried to close an account with TECO in the amount of $776.29. The scammer at S H S SERVICES took that payment and 100% identified themselves as TECO's 3rd party payment system KUBRA EZ PAY. They proceeded to make fraudulent transactions to teco in the amounts of $816.29 twice on 08/24/26. I received a notice in the mail that I still owed teco the original payment. It was never paid. The account according to teco customer service can not be 100% locked out but the account is zeroed out and closed with a note in the computer.

The bank was contacted to be hopefully resolved. Noted for myself: Do not use websites listed on google as legitimate. The fraudulent scammers are SHS services at 877-615-4115.
