I found Purr Sempre Maine [censored] Cattery on Facebook. I used Zelle to put a $150 deposit. The day before I was to pick up the kitten, she messaged me on Facebook to say her husband has been in an accident, and they would deliver the kitten, and I wouldn't have to pay the delivery fee. The delivery co is called Pet Fly Freight. They asked me to Zelle them $300 for a special crate. Then $500 for insurance and quarantine. Then $900 more, at which point I refused, saying OI don't have $900. So they asked for a gift card. I said no, gift card means scam. My bank refused to forward the $800 to Zelle as the money was going to be deposited into two individual names. I lost a total of $800. The breeder is telling me to message them to make sure the kitten is all right. This is the second time I've been scammed looking for a Maine [censored]. This has been an experience, because my bank closed my online banking so I have to go in person adn the local branch is an hour away.
