Selling Sick Cats

We received a Maine C o o n kitten from Anita Jeffrey that ended up dying after a few months. We spoke with other buyers who purchased kittens from the same litter that also ended up dying within months. We spent over $7,000 on this kitten, between the cost of the cat and the cost of constantly taking it to the vet. It developed a severe upper respiratory infection a couple of weeks after we got it that medicine could not get rid of. It also developed pressure buildup in the eyes that required us to take it to an animal eye specialist. Towards the end, they finally determined that it was suffering from FIP and recommended that it be put down if we weren't prepared to spend thousands of more dollars to try to save it (even they said that there was no guarantee that it would live.) The other buyers' kittens had the same symptoms, and at least one of them ended up passing away as well. When we approached Anita Jeffery about the death of the kitten, she said that there was nothing she could do and refused to give us another kitten. She knew that there was something wrong with this litter of kittens.

Pure love cattery scams and claims that cats she sells are European breed cats which is a lie.She imports these cats from Russia and pays people in Russia to smuggle them through other countries to USA.She overcharges people for these cats and sells them sick cats.She is also not paying her taxes like she should
