Somebody from a company supposedly called PSD called my old boss trying to reach me. She said she was a process server. They told him they tried calling me twice but i did not answer. (I did not receive a call from the number she told him) they told him I was being taken to court and that it would be in my best interest to receive the documents they had for me before that court date. She was rather persistent in trying to get any other contact info for me. she gave him a case number. She mentioned an old business that my late husband and I had that dissolved shortly after he passed away in 1994.

I received a call from an Unknown ID/blocked number, then immediately received another call from 910-807-0913 leaving me a voicemail. Per transcript, it stated “Attention this message is intended for (my spouses name), this call is pertaining to case file number 2023-543852. I called the 877 number and they said they are with Bradford and Associates, tried to get an address or another number to google, but they hung up. I googled the 877 number but nothing came up.

I already knew it was a scam, but I called the number back, and wouldn’t you know it… recording came on indicating the number does not exist. Hmm, how convenient! 🤷🏻‍♀️

I assume they have become more sophisticated because they left a contact number and it appears to belong to a law firm which really isn’t. Same message however the lady had a slight accent and went by the name Carrie

Then continues by introducing "her" name and who she is representing. " My name is Tiffany Brookes with the PSD processor server division

Certify legal documentation that will require Your signature. If You're not going to be available to sign, or changes need to be made about the time, dates or location of the service, for more details, please contact the issuing firm that is handling Your case."

Then gives me a phone number to call.
" The contact number is 866 924-2793 and reference Your case number. You are in jeopardy of Missing Your court date,
So failing to contact the issuing firm, in a timely matter may result in a failure to Appear to be issued in Your name. This is a very time sensitive matter. You have been notified"

Scammer called on phone and said they were a process server wanting to contact my son. When I gave them his address they were uninterested and wanted me to set up a time to meet them in town the next day to sign papers. She identified herself as Rosie Brooks from Processing and Servicing Division. She said she did not know what was in the papers. I refused to meet them, and they left a toll free phone number and case number to give my son. Two days later they called my daughter in Indiana and left a message that if she didn't return their call they would bring papers to her home address for her to sign. She called me and I told her not to call back the number. I talked to my son and he called the number they left, but it would not ring in at all.
