Employment Scam

Pretty much the exact experience that P. Thompson went through. I was reached out by Elizabeth Willson to apply for and given a "job", then was ghosted on my proposed start date. Interesting enough, they didn't try to scam me out of money or anything. They mentioned a blockchain software that they would send me a check for, but I didn't purchase anything and was not going to until the "check" came through.

The number under question by the way is 762-821-0229. Don't trust anything that comes from here.

They texted me to send a resume and cover letter saying they found me on a job board. I sent it and they asked me to give personal info & take an assessment. Then they sent me an offer letter that sounded too good to be true. She (Elizabeth Wilson) said they (Timothy Patrick) needed to hire asap and asked me to sign, fill out more personal information, and download special blockchain software that I would have to pay for (I guessed the amount.) Becoming suspicious it was fraudulent, I researched them on BBB, googled, looked at their very basic website, and searched for them and Elizabeth and Timothy on LinkedIn. I found the company who showed 3 employees that I could not see, and Elizabeth and Timothy were not on there. They have supposedly been making ‘life saving cancer equipment for breast and brain cancer since 1995’. When I emailed and texted “Elizabeth Wilson” twice and emailed her once asking for a phone call to discuss details prior to accepting the offer, she ghosted me. Strange considering they offered me 27.00 hourly, for data entry, remote, with no phone or zoom interview, and needed someone immediately, yet she had no desire to connect via phone. ?? everywhere.
