I own a Toyota Corolla that is in my name and my car was signed up under a car warranty program without my consent. My son lives with me and they called his phone number and got him to sign up for a car warranty on a vehicle he doesn’t own! They scammed him out of over $350.00 and when I originally found out about this I had them along with my lawyers to cancel this fraudulent contract but recently I saw payments coming out of his account of $75.00 they have been charging him again. So again I called them and cancelled the contract while on the phone with our bank reporting the scam and closing our bank account since they have his account information now!! They are targeting young kids and obviously these kids who maybe don’t know about this scam of car warranties. Also, they shared my personal data without my consent violating my human rights as a rightful American citizen!!

I received a call this morning from an "UNKNOWN NAME" with a call location of Abbeville, SC. When I answered, the female said she was calling from Protect My Car in St. Petersburg, FL. She said they were calling to offer an extended warranty on my Chevy Silverado. When I questioned how they got my name and phone number, she said they had gotten my name and number from a free giveaway registration or by visiting their website. I have done neither. She provided me with a call back number of 1-888-692-2718, but her call was coming in via a phone number listed as (864) 302-8734 in Abbeville, SC. I asked her to remove my name and number from their database.
