This website it a scam. I was informed to file a police report, file a complaint with the BBB and file a complaint with FloridaRealtors.org. Which I have done. I advise anyone who paid an application fee to do the same. We can get this this site shut down if enough people file complaints.

I'd spoken to Mike (813) 540-1563 and Bob (813) 563-0644. They took my $89 application fee. Bob said I was denied. When I'd asked him why was I denied, he'd paused, then he'd said it's for alot of reasons. That was a LIE in itself! I'd told
Bob to send me something in writing showing why I was denied and he said he would email it to me within 2 hours. He lied! There's nothing on my credit report showing them at all! They need to be thrown in PRISON for this. They're even using Psalms 9:9-10 on their privaterentalhouses.com/Tampa website and pretending to be Christian people. They're a bunch of WOLVES in sheep's clothing! BEWARE!

I also have been scammed but mine was through privaterentalhouses.com/Tampa. First it was Mike then I got a text message from Bob. I called him twice and no answer, called back and he sounded so bland. Just told me I was denied and gave no explanation why. Sounded like he was in a rush to get off the phone. Paid my $89 application fee and too made it seem like I would get approved. I should have known better, if something sounds too good to be true, most likely it is.

i paid my application to rent this https://www.privaterentalhouses.com/properties/5005-corvette-dr%2C-tampa%2C-fl-3...⇄ on July 21st wednesday. I tried to email and call them but they never answered my emails and calls. I am just concerned that they were able to obtain my personal details including Social Security number. I am going on my way to report this matter to the police after seeing this fraudulent complaints.

Applied for a rental said it would be 2-3 days a week later after I called numerus times he finally called and said I was denied. I have had a background check by the DOT and HLS and passed. So I call the HOA of this property and found out it was a scam.

Im a quadriplegic on a fixed income needing to move in an emergency situation and I filed an application and paid an $89 application fee for 113 Hanlon Street only to be told that I couldn't be rented the property because of my credit . Credit doesn't pay renting wish I would have seen all of these complaints before filling and paying the application. This is robbery, there should be a law against this [censored] and lock all these scammers up.

Applied to 7824 foxwood drive new pt richey go paid the 89$ fee x 2 and even spoke with this woman named Donna on the phone told her we moved from Florida to Ohio and have been staying in hotel for almost a month that is not cheap! And I was running out of funds and need something ASAP! Well needless to say they took the 178$ and ran there is no rental! And now back at square one to still trying to find a home! For rent

I filled out two application for there homes for them to call me back to tell me my credit wasn’t good and Rental history and job history was a problem with I know for a fact it’s all a lie I have had two jobs out of my whole life and one I have been with for 10 years and the other for 3 and still with them and rental history bill been paid on time with no eviction and credit score is in the high 600 so for them to deny me with false information I was there was a way to get a refund because now and days especially with everything that’s go it’s just sad

I received a text from Pam and Joycelyn and before I sent my money I googled them and this came up…. Thank you! I’m still looking for a place though hopefully I can get a real location to move to! Hopefully the authorities investigate these fraudulent activities and put an end to it and give everyone there money back. I can’t even begin to think of how to report privatepropertyhouses.com

I contacted Robert Wagner’a brokerage called Realty Hub where he supposedly has his real estate license. I have been in contact with Tony about the scams associated with Private Rental Houses. The same exact thing happened to me. Randy, Mike, and Robert are actually the same person and Jocelyn is a legit [censored] who had no idea what I was talking about when I called her about the property. I’m out over 400 dollars.

They went so far as to have the tenant of the apartment I was looking at to contact me. It was all fake.

Also this dude Robert Wagner has a YouTube channel so I say everyone should light him up and discredit him there. It’s a Bitcoin YouTube channel.

I inquired on a unit that I knew was too good to be true. $995 for a 2b 1b town home in a suburban area where the rent is $1200 for a 1b 1b usually. On the phone they kept trying to make clear that the application fee is non refundable. Instead of focusing on the unit itself. Say things like “if” I got approved. I then took no mind to it and sent over my $89 payment and did the application which included my pay, job location and social security number. I am at a loss for words. The person that answered the phone didn’t sound older than 17. She couldn’t answer many questions and was angered when she couldn’t. I further did more of an investigation and founded this whole thing to be a scam. They reposted pictures and videos from the condos actual website.

I applied for that same apartment. They are collecting application fees and not following through. They've been hanging up the phone on me and blocking me since I submitted and paid for my application. Have you reported them, If yes, let me know where I can do the same. Thanks

I, like every other unfortunate person on this page, got swindled as well. It is so very sad that people would take advantage not knowing someone's situation. I am very disgusted because they take your money and don't follow-up on anything and then call you to tell you that your application was denied, with no additional information to provide. I paid $89 for an application fee...thank GOD I didn't include other applicants. I texted each number that had previously texted or called me and I advised I will be contacting the authorities and I will be submitting a formal complaint via BBB. Within about 15 mins I received a call/message stating they are not scamming anyone and if I wanted to they would refund the application fee. I told them I was currently disputing it with my bank. I also told them the unjust will not prosper and they will be held accountable for everyone they scammed. The biggest concern I have is that they have all of my personal info. That is definitely the scary part. Never thought I would fall victim but when you are vulnerable, as I was, trying to hurry an find a place, you become victim. Definitely a lesson learned!

They're still scamming... Got me, unfortunately. I'm usually great at picking out scams but this is just ridiculous! Beware. I asked for my money back but, I'm sure I'll never see that $89 again... I spoke with Mike, JoseLine and some no name who was awkward on the phone the one. He just wouldn't tell me his name and then mysteriously the town home we wanted wasn't available and he had two more in the same place for $1495, although it's listed as $1295 online. We were approved, however, I wish I would had done more research before sending private info/ paying $89.

I wish I would have done more research before I paid $178 to this company private rental houses.com but I’ve just been searching for a place for so long with no success that I was desperate and didn’t pay close attention. Don’t try this for yourself they will take all your information and just take your money. I’m not going to stop until they give me my money back, now I need to get some kind of identity theft product cause these scammers have all my information.

I just sent my information before seeing all of this. Please tell me no one's identity was hacked. It's sad this is going on. I am unsure of my outcome, but by reading all of this, I have a general idea. This really kills the trust aspect of searching for rentals. I guess the stories they have on the site is fake. I will be disputing my charge tomorrow and locking all information that I can. Thanks you all for posting.

Scammy as scammy gets. Receiving e-mail and text from two different people and 2 different phone numbers. I did my research beforehand and found that this property wasn't listed on any other websites and looks to have already been sold, but I decided it wouldn't hurt to contact them anyways.

I wish I saw this before I gave the 178 dollars. I tried to rent the same house. Talked to a lady who told me that they work with people with evictions, bad credit, and a whole lot of bs. So I took my shot and then didn’t get approved and they won’t give me my money back. This company is terrible.

They got me today. I am in desperate mode looking for a new home. We got to speak to someone and even my mother checked out the place and we were happy and submitted all our info to them. Not even 5 hours later my mother pulled all the scam alarm due to she had a strange feeling. That's when I called back the number and spoke to a female that said her boss will let us know today and I ask for her information and she gave me a first name which was Jocelyn but as soon as I asked for her last name she automatically hung up the phone I called back and no one ever picked up this place is a huge scam. Now we have to pay to lock up and I still don't have a home to move into.

I received a phone call from someone named Jane about a place I had inquired about renting. I paid the fee for the application it was 89.00. I received phone calls From Jane and another from somebody named Elizabeth! No one called me back no one check the j Finns ent and now my information along w how

Was told credit didn’t matter as long as was over 500 and if self employed it didn’t matter as long as could show proof of income. Paid $178 to be told I was denied due to "third party" company that ran my report and wouldn’t say who it was or why denied. I believe it’s just a scam to get money.

Forgot to say my credit is over 600 and I have over 10,000 in checking and I am paid daily on another account I even showed proof of and my husband is self employed as a truck driver
