“VIP package registration”

On 3 July 2024 I contacted a business advertised as GN Auto Parts on Facebook to purchase an automotive part they advertised. We agreed on a price and I sent them Venmo, they insisted friends and family (should have stopped there) because they use part of that money for shipping and insurance. After I paid I received an email with the tracking number for the shipper they use, Premium Freight Forwarders. On 6 July 2024 I received an email stating I needed to pay the shipper a ‘refundable $200 insurance fee” so they could look after the package. I contacted the seller who said I needed to take it up with the shipping company. I contacted the Premium Freight Forwarders who told me to pay up. Such a complete scam.

I paid $470 shipped to a seller by the name of Adams Edward Shane for trans am car parts. He tried to charge me through cash app to these accounts: $juliana69203/ $grownbrax but my bank blocked and refunded the money. He then told me to pay through paypal as friends and family to this Paypal address: [email protected] the payment finally went threw. He then told me he shipped my items through a wierd carrier called premiumfreightforwarders. After a day I checked back to message him. He had dissapeared from instant messenger and was banned from the car parts site for scamming many other members that purchased large ammounts of parts and never recieved the items. He was using multiple acounts and somehow had gained moderator power and top contributer points to look trustworthy. Now to the shipping company. Adams Edward Shane did not put his address or phone number on the reciept only his name and city, the rest he wrote Nill. I never heard from Adams Edward Shane again. I Never received my items. 760 miles into the delivery the carrier put a hold on my items and demanded BOGUS $250 insurance fee. They were persistent to charge me and not the shipper. Even tho I paid shipping and all before it was shipped. Would not release until paid. There website has only been up for one month and the owners identity is hidden. What a nightmare with the seller and this shipping company. Since the seller got me to pay as friends and family Paypal would not help me with buyers protection. My only hope was to report it to my bank. They are investigating the fraud and will try and get me my money back. Please protect other buyers from falling into this SCAM.
