I was researching how to buy stamps online as the post office was out of stock of the kind I wanted. The first result that came up was https://stamponlinestore.com/. I noticed stamps were selling at a better price, which on their about page, they explained they're able to sell old stamps at a discount that they buy from going out of business retailers, and they pass those savings on to their customers. I purchased the stamps, and in subsequent email communications I found that the address associated with the business is associated with many other scams (30 N Gould St, Sheridan WY 82801). And there is no phone number on the website to speak with a real human. I believe I've been scammed and sold counterfeit stamps.
