On March 30, 2025, I dialed what I thought was United Airlines customer service found on Google (1-800-689-1865). I inquired about my DOB and they told me I had put it down wrong, and would need to pay $75 to fix. After giving my information, I was emailed a confirmation and noticed the name said Flighthubdeal, which is when I became suspicious. I was given another phone number to call back and immediately hung up but they already had my information.

I then called United Airlines and they said my reservation was fine with no errors on the DOB. The charge has not hit my Mastercard yet but I will dispute it when it does.
