It was a Sunday afternoon. I saw a JoAnn website and I had learned they were going bankrupt and they were having a sale. I looked thru their website and saw that their prices were Great and I purchased what I thought would be knitting yarn bundles and it was at least about 20 bundles of this yarn. After learning that this purchase was a scam I immediately called my bank's credit card representative and I put ina dispute and had to have my credit card number closed. I never received a notification of the purchase.

Scammer copied the Joann Fabrics website in extreme detail. I thought it was the real Joann Fabrics website.

I waited 3 weeks and had not received my fabric or even a shipping number. I was given an order number.

After waiting and trying to send them email inquiries with no response, I finally decided to call them with the number listed on THEIR website. I got a recorded line trying to sell me insurance. That's when I realized it was a scam.

I was going to purchase some sewing machines and fabric and when i was ready to buy i double checked the website and it was too good to be true. It was a fake i called Joann and they confirme my suspicion.

I found this site on Facebook and Pinterest. It advertises to be a Joann Fabrics and asks for your name, address, phone number and credit card information. When checking out, it said my transaction was declined. When I got to looking closer, it didn’t look exactly as the app usually looks.
