The caller was a male, and sounded very official. He claimed he was collecting for a charity that benefits police officers. However, he did not give the name of the charitable organization. He wanted to know if he could count on me for a donation, if he sends me a letter in the mail. He wanted to know my address. When I asked for a website address or link, he began to unravel, and then he hung up on me.
