During busy season for trade show there are always emails about better hotel deals. They advertised a really good price for a hotel I use and before I placed my reservation I called to verify if this was a legit company. They stated they are not scammers and that they are a real company and the reason they have really good rates is because they buy rooms way in advance. This gave me a piece of mind. I made my reservation I paid. I called the hotel to verify everything was done and they confirmed. I arrived to my hotel and everything was good. Once I checked out of my hotel that is when I found out there was a problem they did not place the reservation until two days before and they used my information to pass as me to make the reservations. I was left with an almost $6,000 plus bill. I attempted several times to contact this company and they never reached out also the phone number I had used previously was surprising not in service any more. They took my money and I had to pay the hotel on top of what I had already paid this company.
