Recorded deed notice came to my house in someone else’s name saying they bought my property last month and that they are trying to get me to pay them money to obtain a copy of my deed and also give me a copy of my property assessment profile. It had all of my property information on it except it had people that lived a few miles away as the “new” owners. I looked up the people and they are real and live only a few miles from our home but we didn’t seek our home so now I am going to have to go through the trouble of making sure everything with our home is fine.
