The website came up on a google search for fresh wreaths. The same product is shown at Home Depot for the same prices. The scam website lists that their wreaths are sold at Home Depot. The url has a secure lock icon next to their website page. They have a very legit looking website with tons of products and details, descriptions and item numbers. The website said it shipped out fresh wreaths multiple weeks. I thought it would show what week it would arrive when I checked out. It didn’t. I accidentally had put 2x qty for an item. I immediately emailed them, asking if I could cancel my order. I first tried using the “contact us” fill in on the website, but it kept loading when I hit submit, so I aborted that and used the email address shown: [email protected]
This was on Sat 11/16/24. It was too late to call their phone number. I assumed I would get a confirmation email. I never received an email confirming my order. On Monday 11/18/24, I decided to call the store number. It was a recording for pest control services. This was concerning so I searched google for pip hardware and a Reddit post said it was a scam site. I looked up the address and it is not that business. I’m usually very cautious about buying online. It did cross my mind that it may not be a legit site, but after looking around the site, it seemed real. No misspellings, lock icon, full descriptions of products, numerous hardware products and descriptions, return policy, shipping policy, extensive privacy policy.
I have not been charged on my credit card yet. I notified my credit card company of the possible fraudulent charge.
Thank you.

I googled "Oster® Pro 500 Blender with 2 Pre-Programmed Settings and 6-Cup Glass Jar, Brushed Nickel", Shopping, and one of the results was "PIP Hardware". I selected and went their online store:
(https://piphardware.com/product/oster-pro-500-48-oz-7-speed-brushed-nickel-blen... /> The website looked like a legitimate online store so I added the item to my cart, when I went to my cart the design looked legitimate so I entered my debit card, name, email, and address information and placed my order. The resulting page showed a confirmation number which I didn't retain since any legitimate online store will send you an order confirmation email. A few hours later, I still hadn't received an order confirmation email so I went back to their website. The customer support number listed on the page is inactive, "Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) emergency, our phone lines are currently closed." and when I tried to submit a message on their online form, it never resolved.
At that point I felt like something was definitely wrong so I googled "PIP Hardware" and found many many results of other people being scammed by this company too. I promptly cancelled my debit card.
PIP Hardware's website is still active, PLEASE look into this and shut them down. I don't want anyone else to have the same experience I did. Thank you!
