- Herndon, VA, USA • Sep 01, 2025

I received a letter via postal mail stating that it was Time-Sensitive. The states that it is informing me my factory warranty was expiring for my Nissan Vehicle and to contact them immediately because I will be at risk of being financially responsible for all repairs after my warranty expires, but I still have time to activate, and they are trying to collect $300. I knew that this letter was from scammers, it doesn't have a website, an email address, or a company name. The name on the letter is from a person by the name of Catherine Beaumont, a Program Coordinator is her title and her number is 1-888-413-6075. Approval # on top right reads 231BB32224. I wanted to report this for people to be aware of these scammers. Please report and investigate these scammers!

- Philadelphia, PA, USA

Letter states factory warranty expired, trying to sell new service coverage.. no business name listed, only a phone number and approval number they ask for when you call as well as vehicle mileage and VIN. This scammer has my home address, make, model, and year of my vehicle. Business hours are listed in Central time and "Mark Smith" signed and listed as the "Program Coordinator"

- Lancaster, PA, USA

They are mailing out "2024 Vehicle Notification Department" letters about a "Price increase to our extended vehicle service plans (EVSP) effective November 7th 2024"

They left a call back number, and are attempting you to give payment for a service that does not exist.

- Philadelphia, PA, USA

I've been called by numerous NJ numbers (Elizabeth, Plainsboro, Bordentown, South Amboy, Mendham) where people claim to be calling from "Auto Service Group" (there is no website or online presence for this company, they are not registered with the BBB). They are calling about an expired warranty on my car - rattling off the make, model and VIN - and attempt to get me to buy coverage through them. The warranty for my car they are referencing is non-existent, I bought it out years ago. I have answered multiple times and told them to take me off their call list, yet they still persist. If I call back, there is a fake audio recording of a woman pretending to be a real person and a background track.

The scam is for an expired car warranty. The letter has a partial vin, my name and phone number along with vehicle make and model.

I received 3 different letters claiming that my car warranty was expired and that I had to get a new one of risk covering all costs myself. I called the number and spoke with a woman, who seemed legitimate until I asked questions.
