Person who called themselves "Becky Organ" located in Maryland was trying to adopt out a female Maltese puppy. She had said that her late son recently died from cancer was a breeder and that her and her husband needed to give the puppies away since they were not able to care for them. She said all we needed to do was pay for the transportation of the puppy for $320. She said that we would be paying the delivery company directly and that no money would be going to her. We got notification from the delivery company but the verification email from the "company" was very sketchy and suspicious. We could not find the business online anywhere nor on BBB.org. They required cash wire transfer through Money Gram. The scammer was exposed when we separately emailed the same email address inquiring about German Shepherd puppies in which they responded that they were located in Texas now instead of Maryland.
