I intended to buy two dresses from Peppermayo, an Australian clothing retail company. The scammer company, Peppamayo, had an almost identifiable website, and ran advertisements under the Peppermayo name on other websites. I bought two dresses from Peppamayo, I received one of them but the other dress was not the correct dress. Both were also poor quality. I also have since realized I did not pay taxes on this transaction, another indicator of such a scam. Additionally, the top of the website is titled "Peppermayo," even though the website address is https://peppamayo.com/. I have been unsuccessful in returning the clothing and receiving a refund for the incorrect order.

We ordered a solid aqua Homecoming dress from what we thought was Peppermayo but it was actually Peppamayo. We received a light blue floral dress so short it would only be wearable by a child. There is no return or refund mechanism. Because a debit card was used, disputing the charge and receiving a refund are unlikely. My suspicion is this company may buy dresses that are defective (thus the short length) and re-sell the items at full price. Lost $120. The return address on the package is in California. A third party shipping company called Seel is also involved and disclaims any responsibility - directing us to contact Peppamayo for assistance. Seel touts a “worry-free delivery return policy” ironically claiming a trademark. How can this be legal?

The site is impersonating a legitimate retail company and targeting teens shopping for homecoming dresses. They use the reputable name, Pepper Mayo, on website to gain trust so people will make purchases on expensive event dresses. Prior to finalizing the payment I noticed that the spelling of the company and web address was not correct. After further investigation it seems they are purposely scamming customers to take money with no intention of delivering a product.

Retailer is posing as a legit company Peppermayo but they're using the name Peppamayo. They sent me an item but it was not what I ordered or the quality that I get from the legit site - peppermayo. Now they won't return or refund for the item.

Bought a dress and paid for expedited shipping and the dress was never delivered. Attempted to contact Peppamayo via email and they did not respond. Looked up the phone number and saw it was a scam.
