I received a bill at my new address for a COVID test visit on October 31, 2022, which was 100% covered by insurance at the time of service, as all COVID tests were at that time. The bill is dated June 2, 2024. This is 20 months after the service. I tried to submit it to my insurance but it is too old. A bill 20 months after service, for something that was already paid for by insurance and is now past when these records are retrievable. Very suspicious. They want you to pay online at pay.collectly.co. This does not seem legit. It must be a scam. Seems they have pulled old test records and sent a scam bill, since this was already paid for by insurance. 20 months later, no legit medical company would bill so much later, and after have moved to a new address.

I received a medical bill for two office visits at Sameday Doctors in Venice, CA for June 22 and June 23 2022. The bill lists COVID-19 treatment as the service, but I did not get covid until Fall of 2023 and I was not in California in June 2022. I do not recognize the provider name, “Chet Tharpe.” The bill has my personal address on it (in Maryland) and my name. When I called to dispute, they asked for my birthdate, name, and address. The clinic seems to exist.

Vendor sent letter originally on 3/16/2023 and follow up notice on 4/9/2023, claiming payment owed for COVID 19 test, at a local site. Vendor used 2 family member names.

Received a medical bill for $500 for covid testing that supposedly occurred in VA on Jan 9, 2022. I did a quick look into the business website and the site wasn't even registered / live until May 2022. I was also out of state (in CA) when it claims I got a covid tested.
