Went online to renew a passport. This was the first site that came up and looked legitimate . I filled out all the personal information needed to renew passport including social security and credit card numbers. Did not complete the transaction, so don’t know yet if they have charged my credit card.

I use this website ( https://uspassportandvisa.org/ ) for the passport renewal application not knowing it was a scam website. It asked for my personal information such as SSN, name, address, DOB, parents names and DOB, passport ID and more. I paid $88.83 just for filling out the renewal form which I could have done for free. When I tried to contact them through their website, I received no response. There is also no phone number to call. When I also try to search up this website through google search, it doesn't always show up. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE. IT IS A SCAM!!!

I entered the Website convinced it was a government site to renew a passport, but it turned out to be just a form filling site. After I filled out the form with personal information on it, I entered the credit card information to pay what I was led to believe was the amount for renewal of the passport. They responded a day later saying that the form was ready to be downloaded and printed to get it ready to be mailed to the passport processing agency

I thought I was going to a government website to file a passport renewal. The website same ended in .gov. I answered all the questions, providing date of birth and ss number as well as passport number. It all appeared legit. My VISA card was charged $169.80. I have heard nothing from them.

I was renewing passports for myself and spouse. $89 per person was stated as passport processing fee site looked like a US site. Emails sending my completed forms and response from customer service disappeared off my account and I did not delete them. I could not print them either but I did snip a copy and set where I had paid with my passport forms. The site looked like a federal site preparing for online passsport renewal. Can I get with credit card company and challenge these fees as fraud? This site needs to be taken down.
