Google served Pass-Travel-USA.com as the first link instead of the official government passport site. For a $49.85 fee paid by credit card, the site stated it would fill out the passport application, submit it, and send a confirmation email. No confirmation email was received. This fraudulent charge was reported to credit card company and will be disputed after it posts.

I was trying to apply for a passport and found this website on Google. It looks like a government official website so I completely fell for it and gave them $60 then later realized I never got a confirmation email or any other information to help me track what I had submitted. So I paid $60 for a pre-filled passport application and gave them all of my sensitive information.

Google served this as the first link instead of the official passport site from the state department. When I realized, my mom had already filled out the application and paid $60. She did receive the proper forms from the site, but who knows what they are doing with her information & credit card.

I Googled U.S. Passport renewal and this website looked legitimate so I went through the process of entering my personal information and paying to have my passport update and expedited. I was so tired and didn’t think to verify the site! The payment didn’t go through. Then I received an automated text and email asking me to complete the process. I realized it was a third party site at that point and felt sick to my stomach !
