2) seller agreed to hold colt for buyer til it could be shipped out without additional charge
3) seller dropped the price to $2000.00 if purchased by certain date.
4) Missed date for dropped price due to lack of communication from seller
5) seller facetimed buyer with a rider on the colt to show it can be riden but says he thinks the colt is 1.5 to 2yrs
6) seller texted buyer after his phone died and said the rider wanted to purchase it the next day which was the same day buyers had flight arrangements to pay for the colt.
7) buyers flew in to Oahu a second time and again seller didnt meet with them instead they met with girlfriend and son.
8) sellers girlfriend mentioned rodeo state finals jus ended and Sarah who is a equine shipper was probably busy at the moment. Buyer acknowledged and would make effort to contact Sarah in the meantime buyer would supply feed for the colt.
9) $2,500 was given to the girlfriend and buyers left.
10) couple hours went by and seller called saying the colt is $3000.00 not $2500.00. Buyer stated that the ad was $2500.00. Seller proceeded to say he saddled the colt n rode it and fed it and it wasnt for free, he wanted the horse out or take back the money. Buyer chose to take the money back and the seller interjected with vulgar belittling words and said he was taking $500.00 from buyers $2500.00. Sellers gf met with buyers very apologetically and gave them $2,000 out of the $2500.00
Owner of Paniola Ranch Rayvan Martinez-Cardoza stole $500.00 from buyers since there were no previous agreements or statements for fees or costs to saddle, show, time spent or refund on the sale of colt.
