Ozzihome space heater arrived damaged and broke, now getting the runaround

This was a mini space heater from Ozzihome (Ozzihome.com) advertised as efficient, easy to use, odorless and would save on bills. The items arrived in damaged boxes that were ripped or open. I tried one heater. It emitted a foul odor and shortly thereafter stopped working. I contacted the company by e-mail at [email protected]. Told them what happened. They asked for pictures of the packages and I sent it to them. I told them given the condition of the packages and what happened with the heater I tried I did not trust in the safety of the product and wanted to return them for a full refund of $159.99. I’ve been getting the run around with all kinds of excuses. They kept repeating questions I had already answered. It almost felt like I was not e-mailing with a human being. I filed a dispute with my credit card company.

Ozzihome's 100% guarantee is a scam if you open the product

I ordered a product from Ozzihome (ozzihome.com) that was supposed to be a mosquito repellant with a 100% guarantee or money back no questions asked stipulation. I purchased it for $50 under the impression I would get my money back if it did not work. It took quite a few emails back and forth (to [email protected]) before I could get a working track number for my package. Had I not reached out, I never would have received any product at all. Once I received the product, I tried it only to realize it was not effective. Upon trying to return it for a full refund, I was told the 100% guarantee or money back is only extended to unopened and unused products. I emailed back and forth trying to understand how I can test for efficacy if I can’t open the product but they doubled down. I was not able to get a full refund as advertised and saw on an online forum that this has happened to many other customers as well.
