The person scammed was looking for a bad credit loan. The person completed an online profile and was contacted by telephone from a Mr. Smith at 225-230-4631. Got banking information and last 4 of ssn. Told person they were approved and had to transfer them to a manager. The Manager Was Jake T. Missed the spelling of the name. Was told they could provide a $5000 for $120 a month, the date set by applicant. Needed ID (sent photo id), banking inform then sent an online link to sign into bank account for them. Security measures didn't open the link- Red Flag. Ended conversation and transaction. No money transferred. Am worried about future ID problems or possible money problems. Also was telephoned from 225-2304623

Said it was a loan for 2000.00 dollars. Asked for bank info, gave it to them. Told me that they was going to send me money to check verification that it was me and then to return the money. They sent me a bar code to scan at Walmart and then send the money back to them out of my account, which I did. And then they still would not give me the loan and stated that now they would send me more money to send back to them for the cost of the document fees and insurance in case anything happen and I couldn't pay.
