The scam began with a young man on social media claiming his mother designs sea glass art from glass she collects by the sea. He asks to please check out her page and give her support by buying her crafts. There is a social media page, pages, that show an old woman collecting sea glass and all of her handcrafted items. The woman appears to be speaking in many of her videos. Now I know, they were AI GENERATED and there is no such old woman or sea glass crafts. The website states they are in the USA when in fact, it is a China based company. I lost $92.92 to this scam. The contact email was [email protected].
