I was contacted by a representative from Orgenesis for a remote job opportunity and I went thru the entire interview process over Team. I was hired and I was emailed an offer letter and a check for $4490. I was instructed to sign the letter and return then I could mobile deposit the check. I did. Then they asked me to send $3000 to pay for the software and licensing. I was not able to ***** the money so they asked me to purchase Apple gift cards. I started purchasing and sending them the information until the conversations started feeling pressured so I told my husband and sister. We decided to call the bank to look into the check and they confirmed it was a scam. The check will bounce and we are out $700 and a job unfortunately.
