Online Retailer Scam - Unauthorized Credit Card Charges Reports & Reviews (1)

- Chicago, IL, USA

The victim used their credit card to order an item presented for sale (for $19.99) on the listed website (cuddle-cloud.com). The website confirmed via email that the order was placed and sent the victim an order number. At a later date the website sent a email that the order had shipped, yet this email contained no tracking number, which the victim found suspicious. The victim then discovered that cuddle-cloud.com never charged the $19.99 purchase, but five unauthorized purchase transactions to a New York based clothing store were made using the victim's credit card, one of which was for $19.99. The total amount of these unauthorized transactions exceeded $800.00. Attempts to contact cuddlecloud through their phone number and email were unsuccessful.
