Gambling games. My example is identical to my brother in laws experience . We both hit jackpots on the same game "Doghouse " slot machine, to the amounts of $110,000.00 & $103,000.00 respectively. Upon requesting a withdraw of these funds through an apparent winning jackpot, we were both asked to make deposits of $100.00 each. Thus the reasoning behind asking for these nominal deposits compared to what we won, was to gather personal banking info. By
informing them of our account information they would be able to then send the winnings. The payout of balances to the players never happens.
