Caller to ScamPulse.com public line was ready to wire $7,000 to a seller / website purporting to be "Summit Equipment & Construction" of Mobile, AL. ScamPulse.com staffer did quick investigation -- determined website had just been set up 3/26/26 (about 10 days ago), and has other hallmarks of being a fraudulent / imposter site. (e.g., photos / descriptions seemingly copies from other equipment sites) Advised caller against wiring money.

Company identifying as ALABAMA TRUCK & EQUIPMENT is placing adds for heavy equipment on websites like craigslist, then lures you to what looks like a legitimate business website, then sells you equipment that they say they will ship to you. It's all a scam. I just about lost $17,000. They were able to get my driver license info.
