My wife received a large postcard via postal mail inviting her to The 2026 Ogden Travel & Adventure Show. On the reverse side of the postcard, she was notified that she had won the choice of either an all-expense paid cruise or two complimentary roundtrip airline tickets with a two-night hotel stay. The postcard further states that, “This is not a Timeshare or Real Estate solicitation.” However, they do not exclude the possibility that this may be an invitation to join their travel club. In addition, they state that “certain taxes and fees/port fees apply,” not “may” apply! Finally, the card presents this as an urgent offer that “this offer expires in 7 days.”
