I was contacted via email regarding a Data Entry Clerk position I applied for. A person by the bane of Henry Lawhorn requested I download the "signal" app for communication and a video call, that thankfully never happened. I was sent onboarding documents that I never completed after reading multiple google reviews. The tactics that most stood out was, the lack of phone communication, sense of urgency and some of the responses via the app were really long and were being sent back too quick. This is the email I received:

Dear XXXX,

Attached you will find your Offer Letter and Onboarding Documents. Please complete and sign the provided documents, and attach a clear, scanned copy of a government-issued ID card. Be sure to review every clause and stated agreement carefully.

Once completed, please send the documents back as a reply to this email or directly to your hiring manager for recording.
