I followed an Instagram link to a deal on Northveill.com for an eye cream that purported to be an American company, shipping from somewhere in California, which made sense because it was an American product. The order receipt instantly set off alarm bells because there were multiple company names on the sketchy looking e-mail and there were no specifics of when the item would ship. Also, it stated that I'd bought one item when the deal was a 2 for 1. Also, they sent me a separate spam email from [email protected] asking me to "confirm my order." When I finally received a follow-up email with a link to tracking, it revealed that the package was shipping from China, which was counter to the various addresses and identities presented on the website and in the emails. When I checked recently to see if there was updated shipping information, the tracking site tried to download a virus on my computer. It's clearly a scam and I'm worried they can access my credit card information or other confidential information. I lost $49.90.

Product was sold on Facebook by Northveill.com. Received product, which did not work, contacted company via email at [email protected] and was told I could not ship it back because the return center was in Asia, but they would be happy to refund me $4.50 or replace the product. It was advertise as an “Instant” eye skin tightener however the email stated that it often took much longer.
