I have been receiving phone calls on my cell phone from a man named Paul. Company name may be Glimmer. I am not certain. I finally called him back. I left message asking what the call was about. I called 317-561-6753. Most people leave a detailed message. Sometimes they call five times a day. He called back and asked for my birthday. I refused. He became irate and started yelling. Needed to verify my birthday. I hung up. I am on dialysis. The call upset me. I follow scams. I wanted to report the call to the Better Business Bureau.

On Wednesday Aug 3rd. Recieved a text from a number i didnt know. I noticed it said Chase Bank which got my attention and i did freak out first. I dont bank with them but some of the people i know do. After reading the text I realized it was scam for a few reason. The number it came is not a 6 digit number. When u request a verification number from a website it normally comes from a 6 digit number to verify its you and 2 the website is not even a chase site. Along with when you request a verification code from the website you are in, you don’t get the website sent to you. I am not sure the name or company who is sending this. But i did let people i know who bank with Chase to be on the lookout incase it makes their way to them

I received a call from a man telling me he had a certified gift he had to deliver to me at 9am the next morning. He knew my full name but I hung up before he could say anything else because he wouldn't say who he was or where he was calling from.

I received a text message that I was approved for a loan. I called phone number 888-231-8264. They asked for the last four digits of my Social Security number. I gave it out. I was told I had to go to Walmart and buy two Visa debit cards to pay $200 for insurance. It was a $6000 loan. This is when I knew it was a scam. I should not have to pay for a loan with gift cards. I cannot remember the company name. May have been Citywide Loan. I had applied online for a loan a long time ago.

I received a phone message from 888-991-6086. Caller did not give a company name. Gave a reference number 2218279. They called my son first. I called the number back. I don't remember if they said a company name. They referred me to a lady named Betty hung up. About a week ago I put $50 on a prepaid card as a down payment to pay off a bill. I thought about it. It did not sound right. I told my cousin and she told me to call. I do not have the company name or phone number that I paid.

I received a text message on June 15th. Stated I won $300,000. Contact Gabriel Rocky 760-276-8662. I replied by text. She sent me a reference number and ticket number for FedEx when they come to my door. I need to get $100 visa card. I had to get it from California and pay a delivery fee. I did not buy any gift cards. She did not give a company name. Her email is [email protected]. She continues to text me asking when I'm going to do it. I think its a scam. Reference number QO45DXOF/884. Ticket number A03Z6731BMN/006. I blocked the phone number. Comes up scam risk on my phone.

I wanted to report a phone call I received from phone number 216-243-4861. Caller offered a free solar panel for electricity. No cost to me. I asked who would pay for it. They said my electric company. Wanted the name of my electric company. I gave the name. I should not have done that. They said someone from my area will get in touch with me. This did not sound right to me. Who will pay. I called the phone number. Recording stated they do not accept calls from this number. This is a hoax.

I received a post card in the mail. I won a $100 voucher. Did not give a company name on the post card. I called the phone number on the post card. 800-972-0621. They wanted $1.00 to get the voucher. They tried to get my credit card number. I said forget it and hung up.

I keep getting text messages from 848-448-9765. They do not give a company name. I have been awarded $900 backpay. I did not respond. They wanted my name and email. I did not give it out. The message shows papa/sodaonline/5nkaodeqz60am. I wanted to report the text.

This individual offered a bundle of a ps5 with accessories and games on mercari, in the details they requested to be contacted at their phone number. I texted them looking to purchase the bundle, at which point they removed the mercari listing. They claimed they didn't like mercari's system and preferred to do transactions over zelle. I didn't have zelle, and cashapp refused to send the amount of money needed to both accounts they gave me to try, $yupximtobyzx and then $tobythox when that failed. Finally we agreed on paypal and, foolishly, I was convinced to send the money through the "friends and family" method, offering me no protection.

They sent me a photo of their ID as well as screenshots of numerous transactions with others, leading me to believe they were trustworthy, but when I contacted a former customer she warned me it had been a scam, that they took her money and never sent the item in question or issued a refund. When confronted they claimed she was lying, but by this point I had had enough and requested a refund. I have no recieved a refund or heard from them since.

I am the caregiver for my twin brother and sister. They both have dementia. They are both 82. They receive so many calls on their landlines. So many different types of calls. One was regarding Medicare. I took all of there cards away so they do not give any information over the phone.

I received a message on Facebook Messenger from a friend. She received a $190,000 Government Grant she did not have to pay back. This sounds funny to me. She gave me a phone number to the Department of Health & Human Services. The phone number is 281-671-0139.

I think I may have gotten involved in a scam yesterday. I saw something on TV about people going door to door to switch utilities. It was around 1:00. My neighbor across the street called me. He has two people at his home that could reduce utility bills. I agreed to have them come over. They were going door to door. It was a man and a woman. They wanted to come in but I would not let them. He on a lime green utility vest with a photo ID. The woman had no vest or badge on. The badge had utility on it. I did not see a company name. They did not tell me what company they were with. Going around lowering utility bills. They asked for my electric and gas bill. I gave it to them. They returned it after they took my information. While they were here they had someone me. It was a woman. I cannot remember her questions. She was difficult to understand. He was using his fingers for me to say yes or no. I agreed to many things. I remember I said no this is a scam. She hung up. I said I cannot do this. The two people left nicely. They both seemed very nice. They left no paperwork. I called and warned my next door neighbor not to answer the door. I don't know what company this was. I am concerned about giving my information. They have my account numbers.

Scammer called and asked, “is this (my title and last name)?” I said “yeah who’s this?”

They hung up

I called the number back and it was a telephone company I’ve never heard of’s recording which gave no options and then hung up

I received a phone call from the Treasury Department offering a $9000 Government Grant. Their phone number is 202-886-1904. The caller said I needed to go to Walmart and purchase a $200 debit card. Use code LM 500 to access the money. I could hear a lot of people talking in the background saying the same thing. I said why do I have to pay? Why don't you just take the $200 out of the grant? Caller hung up on me. They are using Walmart in the scam. I did not send any money. I think it's a scam. I wanted to let you know.

My finance received calls a couple of days ago offering a $9000 Government Grant. She has learning disabilities. Caller was from Federal Grant Association. Ronnie Romero. He works at HHH Building in Washington DC. The other caller was with Federal Reserve Bank. /they told her to get eBay cards. She went to Rite Aid and sent $700. I think she bought five cards. She read the numbers off the back of the cards. The $700 was for the SEC to release the money. They get seven percent. I know it is a scam.

I am receiving so many calls on my home phone. About twelve calls. It always comes up as spam risk. I don't answer or call the number back. They never leave a message. May 13th I had five calls. The phone numbers are 800-391-6182, 405-281-0223 and 207-304-8273. There are so many scams.

I wanted to report a green post card I received in the mail. I think its a scam .It does not have much company information. Just a phone number of 844-777-1387. It has my address with another persons name. Recently closed mortgage. Time Sensitive. Call 844-777-1387. I did not call the number. I do not want to call that number. I wanted to report the post card. It also has a mortgage ID number.

I keep receiving phone calls that I have won $3.2 million. They do not give a company name. Some type of gaming company. I know it is a scam. The calls come from 954-295-0115. I told them I don't believe this. Told me there is an account set up with Bank of America. He gave me phone number 800-755-4350. I have not signed up for anything. They usually ask for money to pay taxes. I hung up and he called right back. Asked me why I hung up on him. The caller already had my name and address.

I received phone calls yesterday from a person saying I can apply for a grant with the US Government. I was called by about three different people, I think they said the grant was between $3000-$5000. I did not have to pay it back. They did not ask for money or personal information. I had to talk to their administrator. When I do I have to deceive them. I have to say I don't have healthcare and change my age to be under 65. I'm not falling for it. It's all about healthcare. They claimed they were from the government. I don't want to defraud my government. They called from a couple of different phone numbers. 628-210-0666 and 316-710-6230. In my caller ID. They did not ask for personal information. I wanted to warn others.
