I ordered a dress from Nina New York (website nina-newyork.com) that claimed they were based out of NYC and they had a 30 day money back guarantee if you had any issues. I lost $65.00. Dress came from China. Was poorly made. Did not fit well. Every attempt to make contact did not work. The emails to [email protected] come back and say it’s not valid. Now that I complained through Shopify they responded. Only to say you can’t return sale items. Every item is always “on sale”. Just a total waste of time and money and horrible customer service

I placed an online order with Nina New York for a satin dress, advertised as a U.S. brand product. The item arrived 18 days later from China and did not match the description:

The label was a completely different Chinese brand (“DAIYUANLI”), not Nina New York.

The fabric was cheap polyester, not satin.

The sizing did not correspond to U.S. standards.

Despite repeated emails requesting a full refund, the company refused, citing a “no returns on sale items” policy. They only offered an exchange for another product or size, requiring me to pay $25 shipping.

I believe this constitutes false advertising and misrepresentation, and I am reporting this for deceptive business practices.
