I used this website to generate a quote for health insurance options, instead of a quote it redirected me to receive a phone call from a representative. The representative needed to collect all the same information I had just entered on the website which struck me as a little odd. The representative briefly explained a few plan options after collecting my address, name, phone number. He then proceeded to explain that in order to submit my information to the insurance company for approval we'd need to attach a payment method with the application. I told the rep I wasn't comfortable with providing this info over the phone. The rep acted like I was being ridiculous for calling him and not wanting to provide payment info to complete the process. I told him to email it to me so I can verify I'm speaking to whom I think I am, and he couldn't do it. I did not proceed because this felt like a scam considering he couldn't provide me with the info we had discussed via email from a credible email address associated with a reputable business. He also said he worked for a state dept, which was not congruent with what he'd said earlier in the call.

I got this phone call and purchased their health insurance under the deadline pressure on Dec 15, 2023. Later, after realizing their poor coverage and service, I called twice on Dec 28, 2023, to cancel the plan. I was assured that I would be refunded shortly. On Jan 17, 2024, I didn't get my refund. So I called again and was told my plan had been canceled successfully, and I would be refunded soon. On Jan 27, 2024, I still haven't received my refund. Instead, I was charged again for a new monthly premium. I called them to seek an explanation, and I was told that I had never canceled my purchase! I told them that I had called them 3 times for cancellation and was assured of the successful cancellation and refund twice. I provided the exact dates when I called them and asked them to check their customer call records. They denied that fact and refused to check the records. When I insist, they hung on me, multiple times.

An agent introduced me to a health insurance called, "First Health PPO". This plan would allow me to make of total of two payments one for $298 and the second of $287; that would cover me for the entire year with a $50 copay for any doctor visits. Two weeks after making my first payment I received an insurance card that had the name, "Strategic Limited Partners, LP which is supposed to be a private health care plan. After my second month of payment, I received an email stating an upcoming bill for the total amount of $287 will occur. When the automatic payment charged my card, my bank responded with a fraud detection showing an unknown location. I called the company with the number given on the card (866-228-3142); I was told I enrolled in a 12-month payment plan which is not what I had chosen with the agent over the phone. I canceled the plan since it was not original plan enrolled in and later was attempted to be charged just two days after cancellation. The company claimed because I was did not cancel within 30 days, I could not be reimbursed but there is nothing stated in writing of the emails sent and their website. Their insurance doesn't check out after trying three different doctor's office who hasn't seen the company before. The website as well gives no other information besides your information name, ss, account #, and payment. There is no information of a policy or any information about them far as location, other coverages, etc... If I didn't rush and look into this company, I would have found other complaints of the company being a scam!

After looking for insurance on the government marketplace I received a call from a verified number. The person on the line mentioned all of the known health insurance agencies and after going through my history decided on a $239 plan. There was an enrollment fee of $125. The card and account are useless. All attempts to contact the company haven't worked.

Every place i went to to use this insurance stated they had either never heard of this or that it was not covered. Upon furthe rlooking into it, and other people's reviews- this is most certainly a scam.

Repeated ad on TV saying, "CALL NOW FREE HEALTH SUBSIDY CHECK 800-290-5771 PHONE LINES ARE OPEN." I told my daughter to try to call the number. My daughter called to inquire. Call was immediately answered by Carey. Background noise appeared to have several agents (men) talking on the phone with other customers. He asked for personal info which included our zip code. He stated there were no health plans in the area. He asked for another zip code that can be used and that it's okay to change it later. He stated it is the biggest PPO plan in the country and the health plan is accepted anywhere in the U.S. Gave other daughter's zip code/my previous address. He stated he found a health plan in that area and that it is $250/month. It was too expensive & so he searched for the most basic plan which he stated was $204.95/month plus a one-time $50 enrollment fee. He finalized the plan and asked for credit card & SSN. Confirmation made through text and email.

When we realized it was a scam, we called through Member Service Number 888-445-9442. The calls were not answered but they called through a different number (850) 806-1765. The first call back was answered by a guy that said he worked for the government. We called the member service number again with no answer. But received a call back from (850) 806-1765 which was answered by Carey. We said we were going to cancel (made an excuse) and then he said someone will follow up. We asked how we were going to know the transaction was going to be cancelled, he said someone is going to call back then he ended the call.

I called what I thought was MassHealth to receive subsidized state health insurance. I was transferred to a “representative,’ who collected my personal information over the phone to qualify me for health insurance. They obtained my address, contact information, ssn, and demographic info. They informed me I needed to provide $125 as a processing fee. They collected my credit card, had me electronically sign, and instead took over $400. They even sent me fake insurance cards in the mail that were plastic like standard cards. I realized after logging into the patient portal that I couldn’t find the statement of health insurance policy document that it could be fake. I googled it and found an internet thread of hundreds of others who had a very similar process as me and realized it was fake.
