Subscription trap. Do not use ******* advertised my IQ .com. ***** pay continued to provide this scam with additional credit card info after first card had to be cancelled

I found an IQ test on Facebook. The posting said you could get your IQ tested for only .50 cents. Of course I should have known better. I fell for it. Once I received the test, they charged me the .50 cents twice, and then they charged me $29.99. What they don’t tell you up front is that you’re signing up for a subscription. There are groups out there warning people about the Myiq scam. I used Venmo to pay the original .50 cents, so they just kept charging my acct. I had to close my Venmo acct today to hopefully stop them from continuing to charge me. Please don’t be as foolish as I was. Do not click on any posts from myiq.

I cancelled my subscription before the payment date, but it still got paid, and I was told my subscription was cancelled just after it was paid. I emailed the company directly for a refund on 12/04/2025, to which they asked for several pieces of information that were provided. On 12/08/2025 I was told the information I provided was useful and that my refund would be ensured. Multiple check-ins and replies went by and they said it was still on the way. Today I tried asking about the refund and was told they needed the same information as before. I was told twice today that the refund is in the works, and to expedite it they would need information I already provided multiple times. They then started spamming replies within seconds of each other all vaguely the same, hinting to the replies being AI. I asked for a human more than once and was once again asked for more information.

Myiq.com is fraudulent in their business practices, they ssy you can skip the trial which i did. But then they charged my card anyway, and when i calked their support they lied and said i paid for a premium, which i did not! And will not refund my money, i looked them up online and apparently they do this to everyone, how are they still doing this? Making most likely millions from tricking people into subscriptions? Why havnt they been shut down for these practices? Why would i want a subscription to take a test multiple times for the ssme answer? They need to be held accountable!!!
