I applied to jobs via ZipRecruiter and was then contacted through text that I got an interview with Myelin Healthcare. After the interview process and “receiving the job” I had sent my social security number as well as drivers license to them. I was then told they cover the total cost of equipment set up and was sent a check through email. They said it would be a test to make sure I could be trusted which sent up a red flag with how pushy they were being. They wanted me to apoke pay or Zelle money over and then asked me to wire transfer them the money. After attempting a wire transfer I called my bank and they were able to block the wire transfer. She then attempted to verify the check which turned out to be fraudulent and has now bounced. If it had gone through I would have been out $1700
