Looking for a cane corso puppy to add to our family when we came across a site with affordable options, had shipping information, said they were all AKC registered, house trained and crate trained. So I contacted the seller through the site.

We correspond through email briefly [email protected] and I was asked questions about myself and my environment to make sure we were a good fit. I’m then sent a contract which looks to be legitimate, so they can start the process of shipping the dog and getting it registered to me. https://mycanecorsopuppies.com/sign-contract/

I was sent a bill of sale stating it was $800 for the dog and $250 for shipping. I discussed it with my husband and the seller agreed to take $500 and then the other $600 after I had the dog. I mentioned this was flagged as a scam site and they reassured me they were Christians and wouldn’t do that and it was just their competitors filing the complaints. I was told I would have shipping information this morning and it never came. I was told I had to send the rest of the money before they would put the dog on the plane at all. I repeatedly asked for my money back and am now being ignored. Phone number for Apple Pay separate from text communication: 662-629-2554

Scammer had what looked like a legitimate dog breeding business selling Cane Corso puppies and website complete with contract looked legit. https://mycanecorsopuppies.com and then the contract they asked to sign for the puppy purchase is at https://mycanecorsopuppies.com/sign-contract/ then asked for money by Apple Pay in $500 increments and produced tracking number shipping info from another site which was also a scam. Logistics company at https://prestigeaircounty.com/track-shipment/ is also a scam and scammer produced fake shipping receipt and fake tracking number information. Finally, scammer requested ADDITIONAL money on day of shipment to cover a scam refundable Crate deposit for the puppy's transportation. A much larger dollar amount was requested for the crate deposit as compared to the scam puppy purchase. The tracking info looked legit at first but upon closer inspection of the shipping company website it is also a scam.

Paid for a “cane corso puppy” he sent receipts of shipping and tracking numbers, looked up the website for the tracking that all seemed real. They also called me from a different number pretending to be the shipping company getting more money for the dog to ship for the container but would be refunded up to 95%. Then claimed the dog needed quarantine due to the pups age. That another fee needed to be paid in order for the dog to continue flying. That would also be refunded.
