This scam website https://www.mystorybook.com is continuing to try to illegally charge my card. I was using the site, at the suggestion of my college instructor, for a school project. The only way the site allowed me to download a PDF was to start a free trial. So it made me enter my card number. After I ended the free 7 day trial the website has continued to attempt unauthorized charges to my account. I since then even took the time to remove my card information from the site. Yet, they still are trying to charge my card. None of the charges have gone through because my bank keeps flagging them as fraudulent. The pay service they are using is called "Stripe." I keep receiving emails from "stripe billing department" saying they that their attempts to charge my card have not gone through. They keep trying to get me to enter a new card number! This harassment is causing me a great deal of stress. This website needs to be investigated and shut down! It is using predatory tactics on students. There is also no way to delete your account from the website. Which is highly suspicious. Especially considering that they say on their website that cancelling your account is easy and that all one needs to do is access the user portal. This is a lie, the only options on the account page are payment options. This website also has a customer service email. I have emailed them multiple times to stop trying to charge my card. They have not responded. I also threatened to report them to your bureau if the harassment did not stop. Well, it hasn't, and now I am going to have to cancel my bank card and be issued a new one! This is illegal what this website is doing. Please someone shut down these crooks.
