I received a call from Fargo, North Dakota and the message was this:

Hey it's Dan from www.myreliefcheck.com our records show you may have $5286 waiting in a relief check that's already been issued in your name but has not yet been collected this could be from past relief programs or federal assistance payments visit www.myreliefcheck.com search your name and collect it before it's returned…”

phone call telling me to contact myreliefcheck.com to receive a check for over $5000 (exact amount I did not write done) that was already issued in my name. I did not log on, sounded too good to be true and if the government owed me money I know they would send mail...they do not call.

Scam phone call went to voicemail. Claimed I had a check for $5286 from a relief fund program or Federal Assistance. I didn’t answer or respond. Checked to see if fraudulent, now report since it is.

They left detailed voice mail tk go to web site, but I did not go to website as you recommended. Im just reporting cause i know its probably a scam. I get 15 calls a day from various businesses? I just dont answer any unless I know them. Im mad because they're selling my number! The calls have tripled since ***** took office.
