I ordered a product online that was advertised on Facebook and Pinterest from a company called Musedesire.com. The website looked legitimate and the item had over 100 positive reviews with photographs of the product and customer results. I ordered 2 containers of the product. 23 days later I received the items and it was nothing like the pictures on the website. The product was supposed to be a shimmering tan gel and I received a clear, almost red liquid gel. I immediately contacted the company and sent them pictures of what I received. They would only refund me $9. I spent $48. We went back and forth but they would not respond to questions about why this happened or if I was sent the wrong product. Then they said that they would refund me $18 or I would have to return the item but stated that shipping it back would be very very expensive. I don’t even want this product and it wasn’t even the product that was advertised! I’d happily return it but they wouldn’t even give me an address to send it to. They just kept saying that it would be very costly to return, would take a month to ship back, they couldn’t issue a refund until they had the items, and if it didn’t arrive in good condition then I wouldn’t get a refund at all. I finally agreed to the $18 refund. I have yet to receive the refund.
