Got an email saying ‘ thank you for completion of your six month of defender &proxy safe service. We have charged you 499.00 for the next 3 years of service from your linked account or card

We tried to contact you on your registered number for queries but could not get thru. Deduction of amount will appear on your account within 12hours if you have any question or wish to cancel the renewal please connect (sic) is on with in 8 hours otherwise it will be automatically renew the plan and the amount will be deducted automatically after that we can’t do anything and the amount will be not refundable’

I note all the spelling/grammar mistakes which is why I automatically knew this is a scam. I wonder what account or cards of mine they hold
