MGN Foundation Reports & Reviews (5)

I worked for MGN for a couple of months and in that time frame we were told to leave "positive" reviews of the company... as Google reviews matter. Keep that in mind when looking at their reviews.

I worked for Shaneika and the MGN foundation for a few week… I don’t know how I lasted that long tbh. Notwithstanding, the entire time I worked there I felt dishonest and anti-compassionate because of their methods of aggressive soliciting. In fact their “mentors” literally would teach us how to make up stories or blatantly lie to get donations. The suicide and drug abuse statistics, used as the back bone of their sales pitch, are exaggerated in order to capitalize off of the sympathy of people who are ignorant to truth. When people donate, MGN’s claim is that 100% of donations are used to fund anti-drug programs in schools, but Shaneika gets 20% and the employees get 30% of what they collected for the day. If you are ever petitioned by this company you should run. Under no circumstances should anyone, with an ounce of integrity, ever work for such a dishonest organization. I am disgusted in myself for working there but I am more disgusted that they are allowed to carry on ??? Where is the BBB when you need them?

100% true. Worked for Shaneika as well and it was terrible. So dishonest and misleading. When people asked what schools the money is going to, we had to fabricate the truth or beat around the bush because no one, not even management, could tell us the answer. So glad I got out!

I was contacted by Shaneika Nelson, who is the owner of the business. She was recruiting for employees. Upon interviewing, I was told that her business represented several non-profit organizations, and that our primary functions would be to raise funds for those organizations by attending "events." Upon attending my first day of training, the "events" turned out to actually be solicitating funds from customers at major locations such as Wal-Mart, Target, gas stations, etc.

Furthermore, the companies she represent, I believe are not real entities.

Thanks for sharing this review. It's really hard to find any information on how this company operates and now that I know, I won't be calling for an interview. The automatically generated email that cam through at 10:30 was the first red flag.
